Longing for someone to fill this emptiness
Seeking assurance in the midst of wilderness
Hoping to overcome this feeling of worthlessness
To continue this travel with the sense of fruitfulness

After years of searching to the perfect one
Still, nobody fitted on the position that so divine
Unfinished business still be left undone
Buoyant plans might be gone after some time

Time passes by, yet this mission remains unsolved
Fighting the hardships and trials all alone
Maybe God had other plans that needs to unfold
To have the treasure that I’m longing to hold

The hope to solve this quest starts to fade
Thinking that no one will able to break this cage
The valor and the confidence seems to be vague
Having no chance to come out of this cave

All throughout, darkness hugs me when I’m in mourn
Imagining how it feels to be cared for
Wishing that one day there will be no more storms
To finally see the beauty of the new dawn
