Shiv (Sarah Snook) proposes taking her open marriage with Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) to another level. Connor (Alan Ruck) finds himself in an unenviable position as reviews of Willa’s (Justine Lupe) play roll in.

With the shareholders meeting imminent and Waystar Royco in a precarious position after a whistleblower makes headlines, Logan (Brian Cox), Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Gerri (J. Smith-Cameron) and Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) testify before Congress and face tough questions from a determined Gil Eavis (Eric Bogosian). Shiv (Sarah Snook) speaks candidly to Kira (Sally Murphy), a victim who is set to be a key witness. In Turkey, Roman’s (Kieran Culkin) business pitch takes a chilling turn.

Season 2, episode 8: “Dundee”

The entire Roy clan travels to Logan’s (Brian Cox) hometown of Dundee, Scotland for a celebration of Logan’s fifty years in the business. There, Logan reflects on his past and the company’s future, while Shiv (Sarah Snook) defiantly looks to her family for support in taking down Rhea (Holly Hunter). Ewan (James Cromwell) gives Greg (Nicholas Braun) an ultimatum about working at Waystar. Kendall (Jeremy Strong) becomes enamored with Jennifer, an actress in Willa’s play. A former employee proves difficult to silence, worrying Logan’s inner circle.

Season 2, episode 7: “Return”

When Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) are sent to the UK to negotiate with their mother, Caroline (Harriet Walter), an uninvited Shiv (Sarah Snook) shows up to get answers from her father, who has been dodging her. Rhea’s (Holly Hunter) continued presence raises eyebrows amongst the Roy kids, as Logan (Brian Cox) seeks her counsel. Later, Kendall is forced to confront what happened last time he was in the UK. Back in New York, Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) encounters unexpected pressure during an internal investigation and Greg (Nicholas Braun) goes to great lengths to protect himself.

As Logan (Brian Cox) looks to finalize a deal to buy the Pierce family’s papers and TV stations at a media & banking retreat, a threat to the deal arises from an unexpected quarter. Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) worries about ATN’s new slogan after learning some distressing news from Greg (Nicholas Braun). Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) fail to see eye to eye on how to handle damage control ahead of a panel featuring the Roys.

Logan (Brian Cox) attempts to solidify his buyout of PGM at a weekend retreat at the Pierce family home, where Shiv (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Connor (Alan Ruck) veer from their carefully orchestrated roles. As the Pierces question whether an alliance with Waystar Royco will tarnish their legacy, Kendall (Jeremy Strong) makes his case to Naomi Pierce (Annabelle Dexter-Jones) during a drug-filled night.

Roman (Kieran Culkin) begins a six-week management training program in the Parks division and is irritated about spending so much time with “normals.” Logan (Brian Cox) brings Shiv in for a day at Waystar, raising suspicions with Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Gerri (J. Smith-Cameron). Connor (Alan Ruck) and Willa (Justine Lupe) attend the funeral of a family friend with a complicated past. Logan and Kendall arrange a covert meeting with PGM CEO Rhea Jarrell (Holly Hunter), as a controversy surrounding a star anchor leads to a day of chaos at ATN headquarters.

Convinced the acquisition is a terrible idea, Shiv (Sarah Snook) asks Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) to deliver the message to Logan at a corporate retreat in Hungary. Greg (Nicholas Braun) worries his pre-meeting with a Logan biographer puts his standing with the family at risk. Connor’s (Alan Ruck) presidential announcement irritates Logan.

Connor (Alan Ruck) and Willa (Justine Lupe) host a soiree to mark their return to New York. Shiv (Sarah Snook) brings Tom in the loop about her future at Waystar and with Gil’s (Eric Bogosian) campaign.
