Former Intuit and Google Executive, Tiffani McCoy, Joins Us As Our New General Counsel

One of the best aspects of being the CEO of a growing digital currency exchange is building a team of highly effective leaders. We are excited to announce that Tiffani McCoy has joined us as our General Counsel. Tiffani comes to HBUS with more than 20 years of experience in legal counseling, most recently working at Intuit as Assistant General Counsel. Previously, she served as Senior Manager of Legal Operations at Google.

From day one, HBUS has been committed to full U.S. legal compliance, while offering customers a more secure and rewarding cryptocurrency marketplace. Bringing Tiffani onto the team is an important step in HBUS’s progress as a regulated financial institution. She has extensive experience working with new technologies and interpreting U.S. regulations and laws.

During Tiffani’s most recent role at Intuit, she led multi-leveled, cross-functional teams on a global scale in releasing new products, including Fintech (payments, money transmission, lending, and personal finance), app and ecosystem development, and sharing economy. She shaped the global regulatory strategy to develop actionable business guidance to enable rapid experimentation and product development.

Before Intuit, Tiffani worked at Google as a Senior Manager of Legal Operations. She mentored more than 600 attorneys on project management, legal strategy, and outside counsel management. As a result, Tiffani drove and maintained $40–50 million in savings for legal expenditures and created cohesive, cost effective strategies for running a legal team on a global scale.
