New HBUS Chief Compliance Officer, Megan Monroe-Coleman, Joins Us From Intuit

We are excited to announce that Megan Monroe-Coleman has joined us as HBUS Chief Compliance Officer. Megan comes to HBUS with more than 15 years of experience in the regulatory compliance sector — most recently working at Intuit, following the acquisition of Mint. Previously, she served as Compliance Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Megan is an experienced product compliance specialist with a proven track record of designing and implementing compliance programs for FinTech and Financial Services companies in the U.S.

Since our launch in July, HBUS has prided itself on security and liquidity, while offering more token options and 24/7 live personal customer support for American audiences. We operate under the highest of ethical standards while committed to full U.S. compliance. Bringing Megan onto the team is a crucial step in the next chapter of HBUS’s progress as a regulated financial institution. She is passionate about contributing to the culture of trust and transparency at HBUS.

During Megan’s most recent roles at Intuit, she collaborated closely with the Product and Risk teams to implement a real-time KYC and AML compliance program for the Mint bill pay product. She had overall responsibility and oversight for product and regulatory compliance for regulated money movement products across Intuit.

Before Intuit, Megan spent seven years as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers assisting bay area FinTech and Financial Services companies. She established and sustained strong professional relationships with PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Banking, Asset Management, and Fintech clients. Megan designed and executed SEC regulatory audit examinations to ensure legal compliance for registered investment advisor clients.
