I wrote an article on CSS-Tricks about a malicious script that hijacks clicks and sends them to another site. You’ve never seen that happen, have you?

I recently published an article on CSS-Tricks about a malicious JavaScript piece of code that hijacks user clicks. I deciphered, de-obfuscated and analysed the script to show how it works and the techniques being used.

The analysis took a lot of time and patience, but it was very interesting. I first had to find a suitable script, then had to dissect it and make sense of it. I think the article shows the fun I’ve had in doing it.
