Our innovation journey: The MEDx eHealthCenter is best described as a digital hospital platform offering data-driven care to communities in emerging countries. As a global IT PaaS (platform as a service) solution, it caters to the needs of healthcare seekers and providers in growth markets by keeping demand and supply in balance.

We are a one-stop-shop solution for both patients and healthcare practitioners for services that are complementary to traditional healthcare services, allowing for even better outcomes. For example, imagine a medical professional in Africa in need of validating test results for an illness s/he has never encountered before. With an opportunity of a second opinion from a peer in a neighbouring or overseas country, s/he will be able to do more in less time, enabling other institutions to do more with fewer resources and ultimately benefit the patient from cross-validated results.

Further, MEDx eHealthCenter can predict trends and mitigation of healthcare related risks (crisis) by studying and managing regional data and can also enable the ease and transparency for EU citizens to go and seek care in emerging countries.

In the next 2 to 3 years, MEDxCare aims to attract patients and families from across emerging markets. This could be a step towards achieving universal health coverage, including financial risk protection and access to quality, safe and affordable essential healthcare services for all.

Our HealthCode journey: We are currently looking for a CTO with experience in healthcare and emerging countries. I invite members to connect with me if interested or to share references. While I have not developed collaboration prospects so far, I strongly believe it is a matter of time. We aim to partner with HCo members that are part of hospitals worldwide and looking to expand their international patient traffic and those associated with medical schools willing to share their R&D with medical professionals from emerging countries. We also invite partnerships from medicine and medical equipment suppliers and online medical education and certification providers.
