Our innovation journey: Health communication is at the core of public health development. It is essential for effectively raising funds, bringing partners on board and for ensuring that communities embrace change to improve their health and wellbeing. In a world of growing interconnectedness, communication through mass and social media provides new and challenging opportunities to meet these demands.

CommuniHEALTH provides consultancy services in health communication, from donor and internal reporting to communication strategy development. We help businesses integrate and align their internal and external communications for maximum impact. This helps organisations develop a strong presence and a direct impact on fundraising, partnership strengthening, increased visibility on social media and stronger relationships with the served communities.

We support health organisations with innovative communication tools to enhance their work in their area of influence. In an era of rapid development of mass advertising, this is critical for ensuring that the population can make informed choices.

At CommuniHEALTH, we believe that health communication should be developed as a core function of public health programmes. Further, it should go beyond the necessary reporting towards a community-empowering practice that can effectively make change happen.

Our HealthCode journey: Our immediate goals are to reach out to companies that see value in supporting health advocacy initiatives, to start developing our own advocacy projects and to find funding to implement them. We are in need of additional projects in Latin America that focus on health behaviour change, health communication and health advocacy.

So far I have been in contact with two HCo members. The first contact can provide support in the area of communications. It was very good to know that I can reach out to members who have the skills required to support CommuniHEALTH. The second member was looking for a partner in Hong Kong, but my imminent relocation to Colombia made it difficult for any possible collaboration.

I am looking to connect with companies that would be interested in supporting health communication and health advocacy activities, either for CommuniHEALTH to work with them in developing and implementing ideas or by supporting our own future projects.
