Our innovation journey: Over 70% of adults have crooked teeth but only few seek treatment because they find current options available to be expensive, inconvenient or they don’t know where to start. We aim to reduce this affordability-accessibility gap and upgrade the experience to fit our modern lifestyles. Straight Teeth Direct is an app and platform based on a tele-dentistry model that allows people who would otherwise not seek a dental solution to be able to afford teeth realignment from the convenience of their homes.
Our app connects patients directly with a registered dentist who prescribes and oversees the orthodontic treatment remotely with timely reminders to patients on treatment steps and updates on progress. Further, our platform enables dentists to help more patients by adopting digital technology and increasing their reach with a virtual practice.
Our HealthCode.io journey: Currently distributing in Spain and Portugal, we are working to extend our network of registered dentists to other countries in Europe and also introduce new product features in the app to accelerate our growth. Our long-term goal is to become the global go-to platform for people wanting straighter teeth.
We are looking to connect with strategic partners (well-connected dental suppliers) and investors with an interest in consumer-focused health apps and unique technologies. So far on Healthcode.io, we have made useful introductions with investors who showed interest in our platform. I like how the app encourages relationship building with members prior to seeking investment.
