Now that the HCORE testnet airdrop is imminent (note here — it’s only an #alphadrop when we send mainnet tokens!) here is a short note on how to get Kovan ETH, and then some links to articles on what you need to do.

The Testnet HCORE token address is: 0xe6f6E7e3F5771d6B078474697a47f876a05b9426

Getting Kovan ETH (KETH)

There are 2 primary ways to get KETH:

  1. If you have a Github account / login, then use this link and follow the prompts: https://faucet.kovan.network/
  2. If you don’t have a Github account, use this link: gitter.im › kovan-testnet › faucetkovan-testnet/faucet — Gitter. You will be required to enter your wallet address and wait for the response back.

In order to stake your LP tokens, you need to follow the usual process of pooling your KETH & HCORE on the Kovan Testnet version of Uniswap. Thereafter, head to these stories to follow the steps:

  2. Unstake LP is here.
  3. Play the spot-the-ball game is here.

Thereafter, you can play the game!

Once you have played the game, you can find the coordinates of your selected position as follows:

1. Open the transaction and click on the Logs tab, here:

2. Once you have done this, scroll down to the bottom to find the second log Data section — the information found there are your coordinates.

X & Y coordinates you selected

The team has developed a pull request into a file that will allow us to record your wallet address & coordinates so that we can track the winning wallet when the game is on Mainnet.

We will announce the winning wallet on all our social media channels and it is up to the owner of that wallet to contact any of the team to claim the prize.
