GARGANTUA Upgrade
Dear Rizonians
RIZON Blockchain GARGANTUA upgrade has successfully completed at the block height 5,113,000!
The majority of Rizonian nodes have beem upgraded. This upgrade applied the latest version of IBC channel and Cosmos SDK to 0.45.6. and the latest version of Tendermint v0.34.19
The RIZON mainnet 0.4.0 upgrade proposal of “GARGANTUA Upgrade” was submitted on 2022 September 1st. As the proposal passed the node software halted on 5,113,000block height and the upgrade process officially started. Most of the validator nodes complete the upgrade work and start running, which means RIZON GARGANTUA Upgrade is successful!
Following Changes are successfully updated
- Upgrade Cosmos SDK to v0.45.6. See the CHANGELOG.md for details.
- Upgrade IBC to v3.0.0. See the CHANGELOG.md for details.
- Upgrade tendermint to v0.34.19. See the CHANGELOG.md for details.
- Add interchain account (ica) module.
- Add migration logs for upgrade process.
- Bump golang prerequisite to 1.18.
