Rebranding RIZON

Dear RIZON community members,

The original RIZON logo failed to intuitively capture the core value of the brand and the technical direction of the project. We have internally discussed in multiple perspectives whether it would be appropriate to introduce a re-branded logo before the launch of RIZON. In order to increase the level of completion of the project from a long term perspective, we have decided to completely change the original logo with a re-branded one that conveys the identity of RIZON blockchain.

Let us introduce the new logo and names of our brand.

▶ Name of the platform: RIZON

▶ Name of the digital asset(cryptocurrency): ATOLO

▶ Name of the mainnet: Titan

▶ Name of the testnet: Groot

The new RIZON blockchain logo was designed with a motif of a “black hole” based on the core keywords, such as expanded, infinite, and core, that RIZON aims to cover.

At the point of singularity, one of the core features of a black hole, the mass density of a space is infinite.

Based on this, we visualized the core of blockchain which expands continuously with an infinite possibility.

Other than the meanings of ‘to stand,’ ‘to raise,’ and ‘to stand out,’ ATOLO is also a symbol for Apollo.

Like the space exploration mission of the Apollo Program, RIZON will board on ATOLO to go beyond a black hole with infinite possibility and aim to provide new and different service experience using blockchain.

The first stop of the journey will be a planet called Titan, so we named the new mainnet after the planet.

Titan is also a metaphor for someone who leaves a great achievement by persevering in a specific field. It depicts ATOLO’s first journey where we climb on the shoulder of a giant to proceed further.

Groot was decided as the name of the testnet as it has the ability to strengthen and regenerate its body in different ways.

The new logo captures the ambition of RIZON which aims to communicate with the world and expand its territory nonstop, just like a black hole that pulls everything towards itself and grows continuously.
