With the Jazz missing BOTH Donovan Mitchell (concussion) and Rudy Gobert (injured a few days ago), the Phoenix vs. Utah AFFAIR went from BONAFIDE BRAWL to MEASLY MESS. Shit happens, I guess. Not that CP3 cares. That’s why Pauly got 41 minutes of run in which he SIMPLY EXCELLED. The Point Gawd got to dump 27 points on Utah’s depleted squad of COLD BODIES while dishing out 14 dimes to go with nine boards and a steal to round it all up. He was so good that he even lost seven possessions… and still finished with a 7 plus-minus figure.
The Suns are leading the West by A GODDAM MILE over Golden State, have a couple of STUDS in Paul and Book, and the two guards might STILL miss the All-Star game starting lineups. Seriously. It’s so INCONGRUENT YET REALISTIC a possibility as it gets. Anyway, there is still time to fix that if only a bit, and at least throw one in. I don’t have a ballot so there’s that.
Utah, meanwhile, had to rely on a starting Danuel House who got to play 43 (FORTY-THREE) minutes for the Jazz. He was ridiculous, truth be told, putting up a 14–7–4–2–2 packed line, shooting 44% on 9 FGA, and turning the ball over just once in that ample playing time. But not even that nor J-Clark’s 22–4–5–2 INKAGE of the Suns helped the Jazz. TOO BAD.
- Only four games on Monday including a Knicks LOSS… what a SURPRISE. Cleveland, on the other side of the court, IS BUILDING A VERY SERIOUS POSTSEASON CASE.
- Shout out Vooch for the leading 26–15 with 3 swats to lead all big men. Stupid line for the worst of the N.I.K.O.L.As though ZLV got all of the ATTENTION and put the League back on DEFCON 1 NOTICE with a 23–7–7–2–1 even though he shot 31.6% from the field.
- Kevin Love out of left field: 20 points, 11 boards, six treys, three dimes. Too bad for TRUE CONTENDERS, the Cavs are on their won run so forget about that buyout.
- Is it time to TRADE the RANDLEWUS? An exploration… worth not doing because EVERYBODY KNOW IT IS.
- R.J. Barret ON THE OTHER HAND. Add 24 chicken wings to his season-menu, some fantastic 5–4–2 rest-of-sauce, and a 56%+ stroke on a healthy 16 FGA diet. Gotta love it.
- Josh Giddey just CAN’T GET ANYTHING WRONG. Another day, another game, another sublime 9–8–6 all-across-the-board contribution for the AUSSIE ROOK.
- Looks like Coach Vogel is APPROACHING CANCELATION. As if ASS MAN David Fizdale would grab the team by the brain and fix it out of the blue… Delusional Lakers Exceptionalism.
- Speaking of coaches, Coach Thibs sent Alec Burks to the pine, started Kemba at the point… and was successfull with the move? Burks was 0–3–4 in 19 minutes compared to Kemba’s 8–1–1–1 in 20. PICK YOUR POISON.
