HeadStarter is Celebrating Record after Record
You heard that right!
July 14th, 2024 marked two years since HeadStarter reached its first important milestone, the TGE (Token Generation Event).
It was the moment when the simple idea of creating and growing a DeFi ecosystem for Hedera Hashgraph materialized completely and could start being put into practice.
What followed next was an event which created a record hard to beat, raising both HeadStarter’s and its applicants’ standards.
Back in December 2023, Citadel Wallet — a hardware wallet with multiple features and innovative functions that other hardware wallets are struggling to incorporate even today — was the first project to get funded through an INO round on HeadStarter Launchpad, raising 4.37M $HBAR from 450 participants.

Before being able to catch our breath, Earthlings. land with its outstanding community was planning to go all-in through multiple INO and IDO rounds on our launchpad, opening the gates for revolutionizing the GameFi space along with the DeFi one. What came next was going to raise the bar even higher.
Through the multitude of rounds (IDOs, INOs, Private Sale, Card Sale), Earthlings. land was able to:
- Raise funds through 14 rounds (highest number of rounds for one single project on HeadStarter Launchpad)
- Raise a total of 15.51M $HBAR (highest amount raised by one single project)
- Have 576 participants in one single round (highest number of participants in one round)
- Have a Sold-Out INO Round in less than 4 minutes (fastest sell-out up to this point)
We couldn’t sleep on it, because another giant was going to shake the DeFi Ecosystem of Hedera.
HLiquity, the pioneering DeFi borrowing and lending protocol that is non-custodial, immutable and governance-free was able to raise 4.12M $HBAR from two IDOs and two INOs, setting a new record by having a Sold-Out INO Round in 67 seconds.
Being a robust fork of the proven Liquity Protocol, HLiquity was definitely having all the circumstances to break records as you can tell from its features:
- ensuring fast, secure and efficient transactions
- offering interest-free loans in $HCHF (a stablecoin pegged to the well-known Swiss Franc)

Speaking of DeFi innovations on Hedera, our last project launched was Bonzo Finance which, you guessed it, has set another record in the HeadStarter’s History Book.
Its focus on lending and borrowing $HBAR, Hedera Token Service (HTS) cryptocurrencies and bridged (wrapped) major assets together with its key features made it an attractive protocol set to drive the Hedera’s DeFi Ecosystem development and given these circumstances it was able to raise 7.23M $HBAR in one single INO round.
Imperative to mention are also:
- Sphera World, a place where football meets web3, offering its users a unique experience
- VRJAM, the UK leader in revolutionizing the entertainment industry through Immersive Live Events, AI Models and Virtual Humans
By raising funds with us when HeadStarter was in its early phase, Sphera World and VRJAM have set up a record not necessarily in terms of highest amounts raised, shortest time until round is sold-out, or maximum number of participants, but in terms of writing the early “record” in The History Book of HeadStarter.
For us, all these records are reasons to celebrate with our community and with the Hedera DeFi Ecosystem, and for that we have prepared several contests, events, challenges and prizes to reward our loyal supporters.
In our last X Space we did not want to set ourselves any lower so we broke a another record: we hosted a 7 hours long X space with 21 guests and over 2.000 people tunning in, and offered prizes consisting in multiple gifts under the form digital goodie bags to 21 of people who participated.
Celebrating records with a record was more then we expected, and this can only mean one thing: HBARbarians are the most amazing community web3 and crypto has and will ever have.
