Facing Reality Isn’t Cool

Most of us go around all day, every day observing what’s happening around us and call it facing reality, like this a very noble thing to do. I hear people say I’m a realist! I cringe when I hear this. Being a realist just means you’re unwilling to see a different reality than the one in front of you.

Stop facing reality and start creating it.

Facing reality only gives us more of the same. It might come in a little different package, but still the same. Let’s say you’re feeling aggravated about something. As you focus on the aggravation, the law of attraction will deliver up more things to aggravate you. More problems, more people with problems and more aggravation.

Even Jesus said to turn the other cheek. I believe he meant for us to look away from what you don’t want, even though it’s in our face. The truth is that when we know what we don’t want, we know what we do want. This is the time to turn the other cheek and trust that, the wanted is on its way.

Have you noticed that the more you think about a problem the bigger it gets? Louise Hay teaches us that if there is a problem, there is not something to do, there is something to know. So, instead of trying to fix your problem, try to fix your thinking.

There’s usually some belief from our childhood or something we picked up along our path that is not serving us and we need to be aware of it. Otherwise, we will perpetually create the same types of circumstances over and over.

When there is a problem, go inward and see what there is to know. The problem is creating awareness which is a blessing and an opportunity.

The universe isn’t trying to punish you or teach you a lesson. It’s because you are a vibrational being. As such, you emit a frequency and the law of attraction matches you with a set of events or circumstances that match your frequency.

Bottom line is that most people are not managing their frequency very well. What do I mean by frequency? Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts! Thoughts are emitting a frequency and law of attraction is swirling around out there, matching up vibrational frequencies that become physical manifestations.

Therefore, we get what we think about, so get control of your thoughts. Emotions are the indication of the frequency of the thought.

Don’t emotions feel like energy and isn’t it wonderful that we came here with this guidance system? Doesn’t it make you want to tune into it and reach for a better feeling thought to create a better future reality

How do you achieve a better feeling? Not that easy…right? If you’re in the middle of something that’s been going on for a long time, it’s because you’ve been giving it a lot of air-time in your head and probably verbally as well.

Now, it’s got momentum so It’s like a train going 100 miles an hour. You’re not going to stop it immediately and you wouldn’t want to because it would make a mess of the train.

You simply start to focus on other things that feel better. Or, you can take a walk, a nap, listen to music, pet your cat, etc.. Just don’t indulge yourself in thinking or talking about anything you don’t want in your reality or that doesn’t feel good when you think it.

Don’t be a sounding board for other people’s problems either because this can create a vibration in you as well. As you consistently become aware of your thoughts and guide them in a direction that feels better, before you know it, your life will begin to change in a way that pleases you.

Stop letting your reality set the tone. You can set the tone to create your reality. This takes time and dedication and doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen. Things begin to steadily improve as you maintain a positive focus on what is wanted and before you know it, you’re out there ahead of it and you can begin pre-paving your pathway through life, the way you want it.
