Drew a picture today

Going to color it tomorrow — really looking forward to it!

EDIT: It took me a minute to find the name of the artist that inspired this version of the four seasons. My process was: I needed something for the class, I wanted something beautiful and sort of intricate so I googled images, and Mary Fanelli’s Mandala delle stragioni popped up. I kept looking, but went back to hers. I quickly free drew it based on a small image on my computer — first a sketch then ink then color. Before coloring I made copies for my class to use in a lesson. I have made original mandalas in the past, but in the moment needed inspiration. I love Mary’s work because it is so vibrant and alive!
