What is this blog all about?

Universal health coverage is the goal of ensuring everyone can access quality health care without financial hardship. It is an inherently political goal rooted in the human right to health. It also makes economic sense.

This blog is a place for universal health coverage advocates to unpack issues they care about & share unique points of view — all tying back to our shared goal of #HealthForAll.

So who are we? The Universal Health Coverage Coalition is a group of 1000+ organizations in 120+ countries advocating for stronger, more equitable health systems that leave no one behind. In 2014, this coalition launched Universal Health Coverage Day on 12 December, which has become the annual rallying point for the growing movement for health for all.
