Lemon and Lime Mixed For A Perfect Smoothie

We’re all looking for the next best smoothie recipe to add to spice up our breakfast or mid-day snack. Well, you’re just in luck because we have just that! We never leave our smoothies without a dash of Kefir, which you can learn more about from our previous article found here:

But, back to the fun part-the smoothie. We have mixed up a Lemon Lime Kefir Smoothie, that we think will be the perfect breakfast option!

Ingredients:

  • 1 5.25 oz cup Plain Latta Kefir
  • ½ medium avocado
  • 2 T fresh basil
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime & 1 lemon
  • 2 T water
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Directions:

Blend Kefir, avocado, basil, lime juice, lime zest, water and ice in a blender until smooth, stir in honey to sweeten.

How easy is that?! A quick, delicious, on-the-go breakfast that you’ll be sure to make again and again.
