Good things and bad things happen to us

here in the USA. Sometimes they are the same thing.

We are conceived by chance, grow in the womb as a healthy or impaired fetus, are born successfully or not. Eight billion and more of us have survived growth and birth in this Age so far. We have varying physical, mental, emotional, social, fiscal, and political capacities during our many varied lives.

We do look around a lot

like all good living beings do. Information is coming in. We are letting it.

This is normal. What is linked, what is alone,

what is imagined, what is actually out there as a stable set of molecules

(e.g., bees, cars, or humans)? Science works to answer these questions, poets are known for posing questions. A natural partnership in one, or between individuals.

Our lives, lived together, born of coincidence, operate from planning, deciding, and executing; things our bodies and brains are good at working on together.

We are dualities of possibility in motion. We do put each foot down and move forward, sideward, or back. We’ve called that discrete motion from time to time. We’ve had this confirmed in the motor control literature, and every…
