Beyond the Fog featured on the Health Redesigned podcast again
Vision4Health co-founder Andy Wilkins has been featured on Hanno’s Health Redesigned podcast for a second time.
As the NHS looks set to come under further strain from the coronavirus outbreak, he argues that it is time to take a step back and look at the fundamental question of what kind of future healthcare system we want for ourselves and our children.
Bolting on an ever expanding array of apps, technologies and treatments onto a system that is struggling to cope with the here and now cannot be the long term answer. As the huge progress in science, medicine and technology unfolds in the coming years what we need is a more fundamental rethink of what we mean by health and healthcare in the 21st Century.
