When Nurses Don’t Know Their Place

They are visionaries

They no longer participate in conversations that cast shadow and blame

They realize that there is real strength in numbers

They ask tough questions

They test old assumptions

They solve problems without consent

They are bold

They lead with and without a title

They reinvent themselves

Sometimes they make us uncomfortable, but tell me…

How will you lead this nurse?

Better yet, how will you BE this nurse?
