A heart transplant is one of the most crucial operations performed on patients with end-stage heart failure.
The operation is done when the heart of the patient is severely damaged, weak enough to not able to perform its task or when other treatment options are failed.
A person on which other treatments are not responding is only eligible for a heart transplant.
The patient needs to keep a lot of faith and courage during the whole process because the whole organ is going to be replaced.
When the question comes that whether a heart transplant can change someone’s personality or not, interviews and surveys have already made on this.
And the most common answer was No.
The maximum people said that they didn’t feel any noticeable changes in their personality but its also true that some people felt the changes or feel the changes.

For example, someone felt a change in their attitude to a known and unknown person, like someone could become arrogant after the transplantation what he or she never used to be before.
Someone can feel the change in eating habits like the kind of foods they used to eat or like to eat now that is no more favourable for him or her.
Some people become more anxious after the surgery.
So for these reasons people usually think that the reason for these changes due to the donor’s heart whose personality has also transferred to the person who has gone through the transplantation process, which is not true.
If someone’s personality has changed after the transplantation process, then there are some reasons behind it which are not related to the donor’s heart.
The stress of the whole transplant experience from finding out something is wrong to the surgery and recovery itself can make people reflect on their life, and feel different after surgery.
It has become tough for the researchers how many heart transplant patients notice changes as there are so many contradictions.
The data from researchers would say that the percentage is relatively small.
