Unique and meaningful packaging design for olive oil

I love the way this packaging highlights the actual people making the olive oil, right down to the person’s name and task on the farm. It’s a really creative way to get consumers to value the craftsmanship of a product. The Levantes Family Farm website introduces all the family members and each of their important jobs on the farm.

Seeing an illustration of an actual person carrying a basket of olives really makes you appreciate why something crafted by hand might be more expensive, but worth it.

I do think the color choice is a bit odd on these bottles — somehow it does not feel like olive oil, it feels more like a beauty product.

Dogstudio design

A modern take on Opera’s poster by Dogstudio

The design studio Dogstudio worked with the Brussel’s Opera to try to get younger people interested in Opera. As a result they created an innovative poster campaign to dust off the old and boring reputation of the Opera.

Using a soft pastel color palette, modern imagery and circles they succeeded at making very attractive and pleasing to look at poster.
