I’m redoing the landscaping at my place right now so flowers have been at the front of my mind. I stumbled across Olga’s dried flowers and tulle embroidery. I love how creative people can get. The above is repurposing flowers. The below is creating them from sugar.

Natasja’s a wedding dress designer turned baker and cake decorator. What sets her apart from other cake designers is the realistic flowers she creates. I love everything about them.

Work and life of Stanley Kubrik

To celebrate Stanley Kubrick’s 90th birthday, the digital agency Tubik made this great website. The site display all the different movies from the director, each part having their own style. There is a lot of good tidbit about the different movies and while the site feels like a long scroll, the animation are really good.

Land line

The concept of landline is really simple but very amusing. This Chrome Experiment lets you draw a squiggle and will try to match it with a photo from Google Maps. There is also a mode where you can draw a continuous line and the program will try to connect different maps while your are drawing.
