Meet Ron Sloop, HealthSplash’s CTO and innovation technology leader.
Ron brings energy and clear vision to the HealthSplash project. His success in other sectors of business has prepared him for the huge task of transforming healthcare through a revolutionary platform built on blockchain technology.
When Ron and Brett, HealthSplash’s CEO, first met more than 10 years ago, they always hoped they would get the opportunity to work together. HealthSplash presented the perfect opportunity to bring Brett’s visionary skills together with Ron’s executable skills for building the vision.
Ron is currently leading his team of engineers in building a first of its kind mobile application for patients to take control of their health in the palm of their hand. There will be an exam tool on the platform that would deliver smart contracts and automated workflows to every physician around the world.
Ron has more than 30 years of experience in the software development industry, specializing in mobile, web, large-scale distributed systems development and systems integration.
He is recognized as a technology innovator and entrepreneur using his unique blend of strategic business and technology skills to launch several successful startups and bring to market innovative products used by millions of people daily.
As founder, President & CEO of Mersoft, a Kansas City-based software engineering firm, he has provided strategic leadership to the company and its various brands for over 20 years. Under his direction, Mersoft has delivered innovative software products in messaging, video, presence, and real-time connectivity for the world’s leading companies in Communications, Smart Home, Video Surveillance, Finance, Real Estate, Transportation, Social Media, and Healthcare. Other customers include Comcast, Sprint, Charter, and Verizon and many more.
Mersoft’s proprietary telehealth solution, is powering HealthSplash, an emerging digital healthcare platform. HealthSplash is the first 360°platform for healthcare management, built on Blockchain technology and Smart Contracts.
Ron’s executive leadership at HealthSplash requires his handling of all day-to-day activities regarding engineers, product development, and direction. He is leading the team’s effort to disrupt healthcare by creating a healthcare ecosystem that is transparent and friction-free and unlike anything that exists today. The fast-growing company, already headed toward profitability.
Ron began his career as a developer at Sprint, successfully taking their telecom network from analog to digital technology. The systems he built saved millions of dollars in labor and time and some are still in use today.
Ron has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker University.
