It’s 6 A.M. and I am standing at the bus stop shivering with frozen hands and thinking about all the good times, all good summer times, to be precise.

This inclination towards summers came naturally and winters are my not so favourite for all the reasons. It’s not only about the winter blues but all the sunless days, cold breeze penetrating your deeper muscle layers, not enough energy to move out from bed makes me think about summer blessings… Life of every summer child, perhaps.

It’s not only about how I feel in winter but the health troubles that come along can make winter quite troubling. In my case respiratory allergy and uncontrolled hair fall give me reasons to hate winters.

How to Survive Winters?

Many of us are not so winter people and can find it hard to survive winters. In case you find winters the same for you, here are some of my winter survival tips.

Give Ear to Health Problems

Coughing, falling hair, seasonal depression and many other health problems can make winter worse for you. These issues can make you hate winters more and this part of this problem can be solved by fighting these health troubles. For instance, if you are suffering from severe hair fall during the winter, there are many effective hair fall solutions you can go after.

So, the first part of winter management comes from solving your winter-related health troubles.

Feel Good About Yourself

You will feel better if you want! If you don’t feel good about the weather then try to feel good about yourself.

Yes, you got me right! I am talking exactly about the dresses you pick. Not only these can make you look exquisite but can keep you cosy. Choose the colours you have never worn before and be your winter style guide. Dress up, look at yourself in the mirror, take pictures and be your own

Adorn Places

After yourself, now it’s time to make your surrounding environment appealing. Be it your workplace or home, make it prettier and warmer. Winter lights and lamps can do the job right for you!

On the flip side, you can decorate your home with a winter theme and can create your wonderland and feel the summer vibes. So, this time make these lights a must-have in your winter shopping list and invest to enlighten your places.

Get Sunshine Dose

Winter sunshine hits differently, especially when you see the sun after facing many sunless days in a row. Sunlight is one thing that can make winter way more bearable. Chase this natural warmth every time you get a chance. Sit under the sun and get your dose of vitamin D and feel good about the winters. While enjoying this, keep the benefits of sunscreen in mind to protect your skin from damage.

Let’s Wrap Up!

Winter is not everyone’s favourite weather of course but you can make winter more pleasurable with all these tips. I suggest you look at the brighter side of winters and try enjoying it as much as you can, in your way, of course.
