🍽️ Serves: 2

🥗 Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast- 80g chicken
  • Basil leaves (chopped)- 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes (chopped)- 1/4 cup
  • Onion (chopped)- 1/4 cup
  • Ginger powder- 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Garlic cloves (minced)- 2 to 3 cloves
  • Black pepper powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder- a pinch
  • Cheese- 10g
  • Coriander powder- 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 1/4 cup
  • Salt as per taste

Method

  1. Press 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder into chicken breast halves.
  2. Combine olive oil, chopped basil, minced garlic and blend well. Brush the chicken lightly with basil olive oil mixture.
  3. Now grill the chicken over medium heat, turning frequently. Cook chicken on both sides until browned and completely cooked through. Cut the chicken into slices.
  4. Now take a bowl, add chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, grated cheese and salt. Toss well.
  5. Place the sliced chicken over the salad.
  6. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve! :)
