Chia Orange Oats Pancake
Who is up for some healthy pancakes in the morning? Chia orange oats pancakes are just delicious by the name itself. It is a whole meal and balanced breakfast or snack which can be made real quick. Kids will not say no to breakfast if their breakfast looks this yummy!

🥗 What you’ll need:
- Whole wheat flour- 1- 1 1/2 cup
- Rolled oats- 3/4 cup
- Nuts of your choice (almonds/ walnuts/ pecans)- 1/4 cup
- Baking powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Chia seeds- 1 teaspoon (unsoaked)
- Salt- a pinch
- Egg- 1 whole
- Fresh buttermilk- 2 cups
- Orange (peeled and sliced)- 1 whole
- Orange zest- 2 teaspoons
- Honey- 1 tablespoon
- Oil- 1 teaspoon
✋Method:
- Take a large bowl and add whole wheat flour, baking powder, rolled oats, chopped nuts, salt, chia seeds, baking powder, and cinnamon powder in it. Toss and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Next, take another bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk together, and add honey to it. Once done, combine it with the flour mix to prepare the pancake batter. Set it aside.
- Meanwhile, heat a flat pan on medium heat, and brush it with the oil.
- Spread a ladleful of batter on it and place 4–5 orange slices on top of the pancake with some space in between so that they could be easily flipped.
- Cook until the bottom turns golden in colour. Flip to the other side and cook till it turns golden brown too.
- Transfer the pancake to a serving plate and top it up with some orange slices. Enjoy! 😇
