Coriander also known as cilantro is an aromatic herb with delicate, wide lacy leaves and a strong smell. No meal is complete without this herb and it’s spicy, sweet and warm aroma can bring a tired soul back to life. Coriander is full of Vitamin C, antioxidants that destroy the free radicals as well as essential minerals that are your complexion’s best friends. It is also antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal, detoxifier, disinfectant and anti-inflammatory. This super- herb , without any doubt, is one of the most beneficial herbs. Most of the people aren’t aware that coriander is marvellous for improving the quality of the hair.

1) Combats hair loss

Cilantro juice is the perfect remedy for stimulating new hair growth and for curbing hair loss as it is brimming with essential proteins and nutrients which help in hair growth. Take a couple of cilantro leaves and add a bit of water to it. Turn it into a paste by removing its juice. Apply this paste on your scalp for about an hour before washing your hair. You can use this pack twice in seven days and continue doing so for three weeks.

2) Strengthens the hair roots :

Coriander makes your hair voluminous and thicker. It contains Vitamin K, vitamin C and vitamin A which are very vital for healthy hair and also strengthen the hair roots thus preventing hair loss.
You can make use of coriander oil mixed with any other oil you apply usually. You can also add the powder obtained from the dried leaves to the oil and massage your hair with it. Wash after some time.

3) Nourishes the hair

Cilantro is full of essential vitamins and nutrients that are very vital for keeping hair healthy strong and nourished.
