A binary tree is the data structure of a tournament.

A tournament is a fair and balanced data structure.

Digital electronic voting should be manifest as tournament information.

“The bracket is perfection. It can take earth’s most complicated, infinitely labyrinthine human dilemmas and pulverize them into simple binary yes-no coin flips.” — Will Leitch

The first step in structuring a tournament is to “seed” the bracket by matching competitors iaka HeapCity.comnto a sub-division. Each of the sub-divisions is then matched with another sub-division; recreating a self-similar but reduced tournament structure. Placement in subsequent rounds depends on winning the previous round.

Tournament information is greater than haphazard information because the relative position of each party in the tournament is produced by the tournament. Politics as a tournament would be fair and balanced.

A digital electronic tournament should be recalculated frequently because new information changes opinions frequently.
