The Cam Girl Who Made More Money When She Stopped Getting Nude

Since we began years ago, this podcast has always shined a light on interesting people who rarely get interviewed. Meanwhile the main goal of Hear in LA is to dispel many of the myths about Los Angeles that are still being propagated in TV and film.
There’s no one form of media that fictionalizes LA more than adult videos, many of which are produced in the San Fernando Valley. Each year billions of dollars are generated into LA through adult-orientated businesses and movies where pizza delivery men (and now step-brothers) have their wildest dreams come true.
Young adults from around the world flock to Porn Valley to take part in this adult industry and the most successful in that world congregate to Las Vegas each January for the Adult Video News Awards which is like the Oscars for xxx film.
This year we went to Vegas to talk with some fascinating professionals to hear their tales and report back to you what they told us, all while trying to dispel some myths.
Jason Luv, a Man of Science
One of the misconceptions about the adult video business surrounds the men in the industry. Some assume that as long as you are well-endowed, it’s the easiest (and luckiest) job a man could land.
In reality, as William Carlos Williams might have said: so much depends on the male stud, glazed with baby oil, beside the white babysitters.
Traditional mainstream video shoots can last half a day. While the women are dolled up to look beautiful and sultry, it’s the male talent’s job to work work work remaining aroused in every position, sometimes with multiple women… all while staying in control.
Only when the director says it’s time and the cameras and lighting are ideal, the men are allowed to finally complete the act. All of that work goes against human nature and what the male body has been programmed to do.
So when you can find a handsome man who can control his urges, stay in great shape, and treat his co-stars with respect, you have a star. Jason Luv is one of those elite professionals.
Born in New Orleans, and now a resident of Miami, when he started off in mainstream video he spent three weeks out of the month shooting hear in LA and then traveling back east to rest and recharge.
Over time the video franchise Blacked was created by Vixen that specialized in chiselled Black men like Jason being paired up with white & Asian women to create a visual contrast. The lighting is exaggerated, the hair and makeup is top notch, the outfits are designer, and the sets are either exotic or in luxury DTLA condos overlooking our fair city.
It was an instant smash and the Vixen / Blacked section was one of the most busiest areas of AVN thanks to the most striking and popular stars of both sexes. Jason’s videos on PornHub alone, for example, have been viewed over 900 million times.
In person he’s indeed 6' 5", friendly, very well-dressed, and generous. Sometimes stardom can get to people’s heads but other times it can make them even more humble. Jason comes across as someone who feels blessed with his lot in life and as we chatted his phone was beeping as people were inviting him to one exclusive party after the next.
One thing I wanted to know was a detail only an oddball like me would notice. Because the men are so dark-skinned and the women wear the best makeup, sometimes after an embrace the female talent will inadvertently smudge her powder on the man’s face. Does the director notice this?
“We call it The Cocoa Face, and you cannot get away from it, bro,” Luv, 40, laughed.
“We always cut for The Cocoa Face,” he continued. “As male talent you’re wearing that cock out. But when you get The Cocoa Face you get to take a break. It gives you five minutes to let that thing die down, because, you know, you want to pop off.”
Speaking of popping off and other issues… being male talent is, uh, hard, right?
“It looks like fun,” he admitted. “Granted 72% is complete fun. You have beautiful young ladies, your loins are ferocious, but that 28% is [the director saying] ‘hey, change to doggie. Hey, hold doggie for four minutes.’”
Sometimes Jason has to tell the director, “like, Yo, this vagina is way too good for four minutes. Can we do doggie for two minutes?”
But the boss says, “No, we need four minutes.”
Jason says, “you gotta think, How can I not orgasm? Because the money shot — keyword: Money. If it comes too early, you don’t get paid. You’ve defaulted on the loan.”
So I had to ask Jason if he ever had an accident during one of the hundreds of epic shoots with these incredible women?
“Luckily, I’m a man of science and I believe that you can coerce or change these sensations by changing positions,” he explained. “So I‘ve never defaulted on any money shot loans, because I changed position. If it feels too good, whether they wanted four or five minutes — it doesn’t matter. If it’s too good at two minutes, we’re flipping. I’ll give it back later.
“The women get the limelight,” he continued, “but at the end of the day… if you’re building the house, if you don’t have nobody to put the roof up, it’s gonna rain in there, bro. And the cock is the roofer.”
Bailey Rayne, an actual farmer’s daughter
Bailey Rayne grew up on a farm in Indiana and even though she has truly enjoyed her decade hear in LA, in particular in the Valley, she aspires to return to the Hoosier State one day and own a farm of her own.
In the meantime she enjoys eating a Zankou Chicken and staying in shape by doing yoga suspended from hammocks. Laugh all you want, but her results are obvious proof it works.
Bailey has been a MyFreeCams model for 11 straight years which is incredibly rare as many tap out within their first year because even though it seems simple to turn on your laptop in your bedroom and strip for the viewers, apparently it takes a lot more creativity and personality than just that.
Bailey says it starts with caring about her fans.
“You can just log in and talk to them when you’re online,” she said, but it’s important to go a step further.
“Like I had all my members checking on me [during the recent LA fires]. They were like, ‘hey, hey, are you okay?’ You know, you have to do that for them too. It’s a two-way street, just like any relationship. So you have to actually make friends with your members and they’ll be friends with you. You can make friends for life in this job. It’s really nice.”
Along the way Bailey has posed for all the top magazines like Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler.
And she was even the co-host for the AVN Awards a few years back because she’s not only easy on the eyes, but Bailey’s super personable and incredibly kind.
Her midwest upbringing is always on full display as her soft spoken vibe and sweet heart is always on full display. That trait might come from her family who have been supportive of her career — something she revealed to them in 2017.
“I had to tell them when the Netflix documentary came out, because I wanted them to hear it from me and not from their friends,” she explained.
“My mom was like, okay. And my dad didn’t say much about it, until, like, six months later, when he just randomly blurted out. He was like, ‘I think it’s really cool what you’ve been up to. You’re taking care of yourself. You’re doing your own thing,’” she said.
“And I was like, ‘oh my god, I’m so glad you finally fucking brought it up. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack.’”
When asked if she had a secret Valley restaurant spot, she surprisingly said Xevichez — surprising because I’d never heard of it.
Apparently there are two locations in the 818: Northridge and Sylmar as well as two in the 626: Valencia and Palmdale. And friends, Bailey tells us if you catch happy hour a table for two can fill up on the Mexican/Japanese fusion for under $50.

Rorrie, the nude model who put her clothes on and became even more successful
Rorrie Gomez is a bit of an outlier, a unicorn, an exception to the rules.
She’s about to turn 31; she doesn’t have enormous boobs; has never appeared in any adult magazines or worked with male talent; and after years of showing it all in her cam room, Rorrie became a non-nude model a few years ago to appease her family.
Although she says she feels more comfortable naked, her bank account has increased once she stopped showing her private parts and retired her sex toys. Stranger yet: now she’s regularly in the MFC Top 100 among thousands of women, many of whom are younger, curvier, and willing to do anything their tippers request.
How is this possible?
“I don’t know,” Rorrie said after attending a private Jason Derulo concert MFC held for their models after hours in a tightly guarded nook in the convention hall.
“Maybe because I had to express my emotions more? Like, dig deeper. I think I dug deeper because it’s kind of like you can’t hide behind your boobs and your cum shows anymore,” the petite performer from Toronto, Canada explained.
MFC models like Bailey and Rorrie make money when their viewers tip them. The women set goals where if they receive a certain amount of tips they’ll take off their top or their bottoms. Eventually if they are tipped enough they’ll get naked and/or perform masturbation shows… until they reach completion. This is called a cum show.
For years, nearly every night that she would log on, after a few hours Rorrie would have earned enough in tips that she would conclude her show with a cum show where she would take an enormous Hitachi vibrator and concentrate — something she admits wasn’t easy — until the job was done. This is very typical among the MFC models. Some have more than one cum show if the tips keep pouring in.
Now, a few years later, Rorrie has had to rely solely on her charm, frank tales, and sweetness to climb up the Top 100 ladder. No nipples, no private areas, no vibrators, no toys, no drunken guest models with wandering hands.
Against all odds, it’s worked. Rarely these days is Rorrie not in Top 100 most-tipped models each month. While that may be revealing to you or me, compared to her thousands of competitors on the site, it’s as conservative as wearing a ski parka.
Rorrie’s viewers, who often are in the hundreds, are locked in even though something wilder is a click away.
“She is my favorite. I’m not gonna lie,” her fan Paragon said. The thirtysomething Chinese man from Buffalo, NY, flew to Las Vegas just to watch her work in real life and help her win a tip war.
“She is pretty much the only cam girl that I visit,” he continued. “There’s a ton of beautiful webcam models on myfreecams but there was something about her personality. She has that It Factor that honestly gravitated me towards her. It’s her personality for me. She’s one-of-a-kind.”
Rorrie’s fans — as is normal for other MFC models — will tip her for all sorts of things. If she wants a pedicure, she’ll say so on Snapchat, and quickly someone will tip her the money and in the next Snap you’ll see her at the nail salon with a message of thanks to the generous fan.
If she fancies a sushi lunch with her brother and wants to know if someone will “help out,” someone inevitably will foot the bill. Why? Because she will think of him while she downs those spicy tuna rolls.
Harkening back to what Bailey said, it’s a two-way street. Many of these models want attention and the men would like it too. Everyone wins.
Currently she’s selling shot glasses with her likeness on it. Sales are brisk even though the price is over $100.
How profitable has MFC been for her? She’s never had to have a “real” job since she started 10 years ago and has bought the condo she lives in. Pretty much the perfect situation for someone who has a bit of social anxiety, ironically. She can turn off the computer when she doesn’t want to be social. She can take as many days off as she wants. But she says camming is her favorite part of the day, so it’s a big deal for her to take more than a few days away from the glare of the circle light.
Even though she lives in Canada, some of her mother’s side of the family lives in LA. So Rorrie visits our corner of the world about every year or so.
“I like the beaches, the people, the vibes,” she says. “I was at Santa Monica Beach. But I was also by where they filmed The OC… Redondo Beach. It was beautiful.”
Touristy areas don’t bother her?
“I don’t mind touristy areas, because I grew up watching so many shows that were filmed in that area,” she said.
Did she see any celebrities?
“No, wait, yes. I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was going for a run by Santa Monica. Did his house burn down?” she asked suddenly worried.
No, I told her. The fire would never dare mess with the Governator.
