Will online dating still be a thing in 2023? A recent survey done by Plenty of Fish tells us people are still very much into it.

Now that people see the end of the pandemic, meeting new people through the dating app is a new lifestyle. And with that comes new dating trends that are surprisingly not all negative — compared to recent past years.

We passed ghosting, breadcrumbing, slow-fading, and all that stuff now. In 2023, singles will be wiser in choosing who they want to date.

Here are the new dating trends that you should know:

1. Main Character Energy

“Focusing on yourself instead of wasting time on people who don’t meet your standards or needs.” — according to Plenty of Fish definition

Singles are tired of investing their time and energy in the wrong people. They’re also so done trying to change someone to meet their expectations. Long gone are the days when you force a relationship to work out.
