Women are fierce. We are also smart, dedicated, motivated, and kind—the list goes on. There are many positive traits that every human being should have, regardless of gender. But according to my observations, women often lack a few very particular ones—and it’s incredibly sad.

As a woman, I have always been focused on my character, morals, and life views. You can see both good and not-so-great examples around you. It saddens me how many ladies lack traits I consider extremely important.

Without further ado, here’s my take on the five traits women should — and certainly deserve — to possess. Disclaimer: All of them can apply to men and non-binary people as well.

Confidence

Confidence, confidence, confidence! If there’s a number one trait every human being should possess apart from “warm” characteristics like kindness, honesty, and others, it’s confidence. Unfortunately, not everyone has it. I might be wrong, but my life experience shows that women are often less confident than men.
