In July, someone I knew died suddenly. It was unexpected, a shock. On the cusp of retirement, she suffered a heart attack. And honestly, I’m still processing how life can be so cruel, and feeling sadness that her family have had to deal with this tragedy in a time that they should have been looking forward to spending more time together, planning for the future.
