Everyone deserves love —
big, big love,
giggly, sweet, supportive love.
It doesn’t happen through hyper-fixating on others.
You discover it by loving yourself.
Loving all parts of yourself and holding your heart
no matter what you find. No matter what you’re experiencing.
It’s the practice of reparenting yourself. Looking at the things you didn’t see clearly before and creating a new narrative for love and thriving.
But please, be patient with your heart.
Be honest about the emotions you minimized long ago.
Give them space.
Share your humanity, your flaws.
Show up undone.
You’ll discover that you never had to be perfect to deserve love.
You are, always were, and always will be deserving.
For you can’t escape love. It’s the very fabric you’re cut from.
Living separately from this truth feels clunky because you don’t belong anywhere else but in the river of love — floating and receiving.
