Have You Ever Learned About Win-Win?
Absolute win-lose often leads to human disaster
Hi, my brothers and sisters,
We may be of different race and faith,
I know that you all suffered greatly from the past inhuman oppression,
It was probably one of the most gruesome genocide in human history,
For that, I express my great empathy,
No words can describe the pain that your ascendants have gone through.
Destiny had us both occupied the same land,
History proclaims your ascendants have been living here since thousands of years ago,
But with the flow of the river in history,
With the changes in several occupation powers,
My descendants have been living here since centuries ago too.
You wanted to reclaim this land which you said rightfully is yours since the writing of history,
But we have been staying here for the past centuries,
Where do you want me to go?
After living here for centuries, can I not proclaim this is my homeland too?
We fought a few times and you won,
I acknowledged your intelligence,
Thereās a reason why you can control the world's superpower with your tiny population,
This is indeed a great achievement!
However, my brothers and sisters,
You are too full of yourself and becoming arrogant,
How can you bulldoze us out of this land?
Do we not have the right to live a decent life?
Why do you impose the great pain your ascendants once endured upon us now?
There is a win-win, absolute win-lose often fails & backfires.
This planet belongs to everyone,
We all breathe the same air,
Letās not deny anyone this right,
Yes, agree that the fittest survives but if you overdo it and ignore everyone else,
You will get it back one day, it's just a matter of time,
This is the universal law.
Oppression can't cure hatred,
It only fuels the hatred and burns it brighter.
Only love can cure hatred.
You forced us to the corner till we hardly can breathe,
We have no choice but to fight back,
Albeit we are in a much weaker position,
Our hatred has blinded our rationale minds,
Or bloodshed is unavoidable as a price to pay,
We donāt have any other way to object to this long-endured injustice.
You have endured unjust in your past,
Why do you impose it upon us now?
Arenāt we human too that deserve respect?
Why stripped us of the right to live decently?
Donāt let your ignorance blind you,
My brothers and sisters,
Please wake up before it becomes too late.
Think of others too when you think of your ambition,
Think of win-win rather than win-lose,
Win-win would bring long-lasting benefits to all,
Win-lose only brings turbulence and bloodshed.
Letās put a stop to the bloody and complex history,
Let's make peace and make our world a better place,
Who knows, our Gods could be the same, only with different names?
Iām sure God will be pleased with our benevolence towards each other,
I know this is hard but not impossible,
After all, we are only humans and we have our flaws and dark sides,
When we have the wrong leaders they will make devastating decisions,
Which causes horrible repercussions for mankind in the long run.
