Let the wind blow

A poem about loss

Photo by Oliver Hihn on Unsplash

Let the wind blow
It might
It might instill some life
inside of me
Love and its heat
dried everything

The floor is empty
No memories
no attachments
no expectations
Not even your keys

Now this void
is flooded with words
on my screen
