Say yeah to her … and rise!

Use a glass mirror to look at your face, but words to seek your soul.

The woman in the mirror gazes at her beautiful face. But all she notices are those fine lines starting to pierce her skin and her wispy hair. Her eyes tired and red, void of their usual radiance and alertness.

She thinks back to when she looked different and then remembers she has always looked this way. That wrinkles and whirly curls didn’t just pop up overnight but grew. With doubts and smiles, and with life.

The woman in the mirror weeps. Wonders where the other side of herself has gone. The one that’s happy, invincible, inspiring, and bubbly. The one that doesn’t try to flee the process of inevitable change.

The woman in the mirror knows. About the programming. About the alleged weaknesses that keep reflecting back. About the disillusional mirror that has cracked and along with it, her skin and thoughts.

The woman in the mirror starts looking for herself. For the change, she embodies and loves so much. While she is afraid it will break her. At the same time, she knows she must break, must shed her old cover. And embrace the next one like a queen who adorns herself with a shimmering new robe.
