Things change. Change is inevitable. We are in the midst of change as we speak.

A visionary can plan for and imagine the future while a leader can move people. In order to move people you have to speak to their hearts. We need both visionaries and leaders right now. We need people to know how to listen to themselves, people that know how to think critically and dig deep. People that know how and why they operate themselves as they do are essential in this current life moment. Change happens whether we participate in it or not. Right now, visionaries and leaders are being called upon to help bring hope back into the hearts of those that are experiencing hopelessness.

Everyone is precious.

The way in which most societies are set up makes it challenging to walk through life owning our preciousness. Hope helps us remember that we as human beings are made for the purpose of having experiences in this life. When we are children our experiences depend on the decisions of the surrounding adults. When we become adults our experience of our experiences depends on our decision making. We need visionaries and leaders to speak to the minds and hearts of people and we need this to occur across the globe. Now. It is never too late to return to hope. It requires some sort of internal reconnecting to self, brain rewiring through neuroplasticity, emotional healing through self-introspection. Hope cannot live outside of us, it must originate from within.

This is why we need the leaders to speak to our hearts. The visionaries can create the pictures and depict the ideals, but we also need the leaders to turn our ideals into reality by moving the people. There must be a balance between the two so that hope can be sustained. Too much vision and no movement can become discouraging to people. Too much leadership without tapping into the minds and views of the people can make individuals feel left out and unconsidered. Balancing being a visionary with being a leader is a very mindful practice of consciously paying attention to oneself and others.

Internal harmony can become disrupted in the operation of the human being and because of this chaos can become commonplace. We require internal harmony in order to create external cohesion. A true leader can tap into and hold space for the heart of another human being. Reflect on what this next sentence means to you. Holding space for the heart of a fellow human being.

Being able to see and understand the importance and significance of holding space for the heart of another human being means that you can already see the vision, it means that you are a visionary and see that it will take the strengths of humanity to change the current life circumstances. Human beings are built in harmony and require a harmonious inner flow for optimal functioning in all life areas. The balance of a little bit of this and a little bit of that, from head to toe, inside and out, is how we stay alive.

Without harmony, human beings have conflict. Knowing how to efficiently and effectively navigate conflict requires the vantage point of a leader and a visionary. Thinking deeply, asking open-hearted questions and performing self-inquiry are a few ways we can practice seeing from the vantage point of the leader. Engaging curiosity, being open minded, thinking big and brainstorming creatively are a few ways we can practice seeing through the lens of a visionary.

Knowing oneself, listening to oneself and listening to others are arguably some of the most critical components to functioning as a healthy human being. Knowing our strengths and strengthening our weaknesses is how we overcome obstacles and challenges in life. Change can be challenging to embrace, it can be difficult to find our footing during times of transition. Change is happening right now. A tide is shifting and at times riding the wave can feel unfamiliar and familiar, uncertain and certain, stable and unstable. We need people to know how to stabilize themselves. We need the people that know how to soothe their hurts and hold compassion for themselves and others.

Everyone is precious in their own unique way.

We need the people that know and understand this to speak and share, compassionately. We need hope healers that know how to hold space for humanity to remind the hearts of the hopeless about how precious they are. Trauma changes us and because of the present day brain science we know this now. Things change. Times change and people can change. You can weather this change.

We need visionaries to see the visions and leaders to lead the people. It is your turn now. It is time for healing. Things will change. Change is inevitable.
