It’s the Little Things That Make a Big Difference

This surprise made my day

The other day, I went to chewy.com for some pet supplies. As I logged in, I saw the name of my cat, Cara, who passed away a year ago this summer.

I clicked on it, and there was her picture. The profile stated her age as 14. It made me sad. I didn't want to see the age she would have been every time I logged in.

I updated the profile to let them know Cara had passed. And luckily, there was an option for that.

A few days later, I was going about my business when I looked out my window and saw a small vase with flowers sitting on the porch. It wasn’t my birthday or Mother's Day; this was unusual. I opened the card, and the flowers were from Chewy. With this heartfelt note,

All of us at Chewy are so sorry to hear of your loss. We hope these flowers bring you a smile and remind you of the love Cara left in your heart.
