Karma will Punish You
“You reap what you sow.”
It’s the 8th March Women’s Day. The dinner, dance, and photo sessions are organized by the university. I decided to wear a black and golden velvet dress, minimal makeup, and jewelry.
The celebration started and our senior asked us to pose for shots. Me and my girls enjoyed the party.
The next morning the guy who clicked the photos was waiting for me in the garden he said, “Hey, do you want to see yesterday’s pictures?”
I replied, “Yes, I’m excited.”
His photography skills were amazing I said, “I loved them, I’ll save them in Pendrive.”
We agreed and moved to the respective classrooms.
One day my friend Shona said, “Do you know Akkyy who clicked your pictures?”
I replied, “Yeah, what about him?”
She breathed deeply and said, “He wants me to convey a message to you.”
She was acting mysterious but I had enough patience to hear her out.
She continued, “Okay, Akkyy likes you and is interested in speaking with you.”
I let out, “But, I only met him twice, I don’t have such feelings.”
She said, “Yeah, you should talk to him and he is a good guy you should try.”
I got furious and asked, “You are my best friend right? How you can say something stupid?”
She replied, “No, he is rich and handsome.”
She was pissing me off I said, “Shut up! I’m not going to see him even if he is rich.”
From another friend Ritu, I got to know HE was annoying Shona. She admired Akkyy for a long period and he rejected her love. Still, she helped him by giving him my number. I understood Shona was going through the worst feelings.
He sent a message to me saying, “Hi, I want to talk.”
I immediately replied, “I don’t have any feelings for you, and stop irritating Shona.”
He replied, “At least let me speak.”
I said, “Yes I’m listening.”
He let out, “You are torturing and ignoring my heart.”
He continued, “One day you will fall in love deeply and the person will break your heart, it is Karma who is going to punish you.”
From that day we never spoke or saw each other. But I think he cursed me to have an evil mate.
