One day
One day you will want to go out for a walk,
But your legs won’t allow it.
One day you will want to enjoy a scoop of ice cream,
But your teeth have fallen out.
One day you will want to trade anything to meet your childhood friends,
But they will be far away, a bit disconnected.
One day you will want to try new things,
But your brain has been too occupied with old things.
One day you will want to be as hopeful as the sun,
But you are too used to spending your time in the dark clouds.
One day you will want to be young,
But the old age has come.
So, Move your hands and legs,
for they can walk till the end.
Eat the greens and the treats,
a little of all that you can have the taste of life for the longest time.
Whenever the chance for good company comes,
don’t isolate yourself, we all deserve some fun and love.
Yes, be planned and prepared,
But once in a while experiment like a child and be messy with paints
For the child in you has to live.
One day, I hope we all can say that we tried our best to live a happy life.
