Madeline woke in Jarrett’s arms, her head resting on his chest, his heart beating evenly in her ear.
The previous evening had been incredible. Jarrett’s touch was perfect, sending her crazy with his barely-there lips and fingertips, and then applying pressure exactly when and where she needed it most.
He’d been a gentle lover, checking in with her every step of the way.
She never wanted her time with him to end.
He stirred, and his fingers brushed the side of her face as his lips pressing against her forehead.
“Good morning, beautiful.”
She tilted her face up for a kiss.
“Good morning.”
“Last night was pretty wonderful.”
“It was, wasn’t it.”
He snuggled further down under the blankets until he was face to face with her. “Wish I could stay here forever.”
