Chaos For Chaos Sake

Most people have either read or watched the Batman or Gotham series….if not well cant help you there. Now out of all the villians in stories and movies the Joker really does take the cake. Not beacause he is crazy or scary and not because let admit he is a little witty. The Joker has no reason for the distruction he causes. In one movie it is even said that some people dont want money or gold they just want to see the world burn.

What can you do with someone who has no regard for anything except destroying humanity. He doesnt care if he dies, he doesnt care if he is locked up, its almost a cat and mouse game for him. In a way he knows he will be caught or killed he knows thats the end game and again he doesnt really care.

When Heath Ledger took the role of the Joker the previous actor warned him that playing that role would change him. To take on a persona that has no real motive except seeing the world destroyed, letting people allow their own insanity out and be free.

Most people do things like work or study or get married to create a future and gain what they want. It may be money, recognition, children….whatever. But to have no true need or want except to do what feels good and to try to free people from themselves thats true fear. In horror movies people have a reason to do the things they do…revenge, pleasure, compulsion….whatever. The Joker has no reason and nothing to truly gain except the satisfaction of total chaos.

Yes this blog really doesnt have some deep meaning but its what was on my mine!! Until next time.
