HECO Global Node Election User Voting Stage Started

On June 10, HECO global node election officially user voting stage started. Users can vote on the HECO global node through a unified page link (https://www.heco123.com/en-us/vote), and participate in the HECO eco-system development.

Users can vote for candidates by staking HT, staking HT Tokens (HECO) to the HECO address designated by the node, 1 HT token represents 1 vote, and can only vote for one candidate. The top 11 node candidates with votes will become Master Nodes, and the 12–21 node candidates will become Back-up Nodes. There are 21 Master Nodes in HECO, and 11 Master Nodes and 11 Back-up Nodes are open in this round.

The initial voting period is two weeks, and the nodes will be rotated 6 hours after being selected. The HT pledged by the user will be freely accessed. Voting users can exit the node voting at any time and retrieve the HT. The retrieved HT will be locked for about 3 days after it is received. If the user retrieves the HT, the number of votes for the node will decrease, and the actual number of votes will be calculated according to the snapshot of the deadline of the current round of elections.
