Paving the way to the HDAO

Hey everyone!

Before we dive into the latest governance update, here’s a little something on the technology front; our developers are busy building and following the developments of Hedera. Once the technology is ready and will permit the functioning of our launchpad, we will migrate and build a Hedera-native pad.

Having said that, today’s article will cover some of the upcoming governance changes you can expect from HStarter.

As you may already know, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) have become the topic in the crypto space over the last few years. From the very beginning of HStarer, we have paved the way for the HDAO to become a reality, where the governance process of HStarter will be in the hands of the community. Members stake $HSTART in the HDAO to run the Councils of Industry, which govern the incubation and the sign-off process for projects that make it to the HPAD.

The time has come for us to take the next steps to becoming a fully-fledged DAO.

As HStarter moves towards this goal, the first steps necessary for the HDAO to function effectively include reorganizing the current structure of HStarter. Decision making will no longer lie in the hands of the HStarter executive team, with this power now transitioning to the HStarter community.

We are inviting individuals who are interested in becoming an HDAO Contributor to step up. To apply, you can submit your application to the DAO Applications Discord channel. In your application, please provide information about yourself, your vision for the HDAO, and the role you envision playing as a DAO member.

Community engagement is essential to the success of any DAO. HStarter members need to be actively engaged in the decision-making process and feel like they have a say in the future of the organization. We are committed to building a strong community around its platform, with regular updates, AMAs, and other engagement opportunities.
