[Practically] Instant Trade Reaction

I’m gonna try and do this for all trades going forward. It may get crazy and I may regret even suggesting I would do this. But for now, it’s easy.

Reaction

Pretty straight forward. Looking at their respective teams and records, they are headed in different directions. Rodgers has taken full advantage of injuries to both Charles Sims and Doug Martin. He’s been hogging the touches in Tampa Bay over the past couple of weeks and thanks to a recent setback, he’s likely to keep doing so for at least a few more weeks.

Robert Kelley was a preseason darling, but hasn’t gotten much run of yet in the regular season. That could soon change. Matt Jones has 7 lost fumbles in 243 career carries. That’s a fumble for every 34 attempts. That’s bad. With Chris Thompson doing his best Theo Riddick impression, Kelley is unlikely to take over all RB duties, but could easily start cutting into Jones’ workload.

Hallahan wins in the short-term, but this could swing in Marino’s favor. Either way I wouldn’t expect a huge impact in either direction.
