Let’s get weird! Here’s a sell/buy suggestions for each team with bonus trades at the end.

ÜWC WACTH

Forget Hallahan’s fancy OP/AP sheet. Though he does owe me a comparison/efficiency column next week (barring he loses again and continues his power rankings protest)

Points forced as of end of Week 7. Currently based on my minimal understanding of the UWC- nothing changes. Top 6 in, no one sneaks in and bumps Pou….. unless Billy? Sarlo? More to come.

I’ll just highlight it here. Bpou locked up his playoff spot. Already? Yes. Billy is our hope to knock him out of the top 6, but then I think Pou gets in with top points scored of the remaining teams. So maybe we should let him go ahead and win, so he doesn’t get to be the first UWC member. Billy and Pou have their remaining 6 matches against 2 teams with a winning record and 4 with a losing record. Just making sure we Jinx this out!

12 — MIKE ALTBAUM (1–6, E)

Close matchup for Mike. Thankfully, Darnold knew the plan and assisted in the loss, don’t bring those wins in here! Mike’s team is shaping up to make a big jump up with a young team in the next 2 years.

Buy: Needs to find his future QB to lead this squad

11 — STEVE CALHOUN (1–6, -1)

Calhoun rode the big scores with minimal wins wave as long as he could. Sure, beat Ian/Mike 1 or 2 more times and have a few wins. But once again, we’re here. With older pieces and no upside. Time to Sell, Sell, Sell.

Sell: Hyde, Freeman, Green, Ross

10— IAN CROSBY (1–6, +1)

The team is young, but it might be the right time to sell 1 or 2 pieces. Not sure if you really vaulted or Calhouns dropped.

Sell: Hooper, Sanu, Henry

9 — ANDREW BARTELL (2–5, E)

I think it’s finally dead. Did he miss his sell window on Sony after getting hurt? This team was promising until they tore it all down. It’ll be interesting to watch Frank/Head build it back up again.

Sell: Watson, Michel, Beasley

8 — NICK SARLO (3–4, -2)

Sarlo finding a way to sneak into the playoffs and then how he’d handle it.

I think in the end, with injuries/retirements/management, this team finishes 6–7. It looked like the year to be in the playoffs, but just wasn’t the right time yet!

Buy: a QB

Sell: 10 of your 18 TE’s

7 — DAN MARINO (4–3, E)

Dans stuck right in the middle, as per usual. Does he buy and make a run, or does he sell and try to grab young pieces. In the end, I think he just holds and is what his team is.

Buy/Sell- do something!

6— BILLY DAVIS (3–4, +2)

This team will literally be sitting on the stoop outside the playoff group. He’ll think he’s walking in the door, but Pou will close it to remind him he’s the only lucky bastard here. Billy has potential for random big weeks, he’ll cause havoc in the last 6 weeks.

Hold your team/picks

5 — CHRIS BLACK (5–2, E)

Not winning and not tanking. A new Meh?

Well, keeping Julio wouldn’t of helped this team beat Billy. I got a good enough head start to be in the playoffs, but I’m not heading up. Trying to creatively keep the team competitive and prevent the all talked about cliff drop off, look for this team to be juggling and attempting to make +5 more trades before the deadline. I think I end 7–6 and just stay in playoffs.

Sell: Fitz, Cooks, Edelman, Brady, Cook, McCoy, Ingram

4 — BPOU (3–4, )

Pou back to work!

Yea, he’ll make the playoffs based off the UWC. But he won’t sniff the Championship matchup.

Buy: WR

3 — DAVE HALLAHAN (6–1, -1)

When the cake fights back.

Tough loss to his arch enemy. Injuries and boom/bust weeks for certain players I think will plague this team to not only lose to Troy, but drop 1 more game to a surprise team. Still a top team, but they need to make some moves.

Buy: RB/WR

2 — DAVE FALCONE (7–0, +1)

Jackie told me Dave baked a cake this weekend and didn’t understand why, but we all know why.

Billy beats Falcone this week ( *_ which Billy always does against him _*) or Falcone goes 13–0. It’s a soft end of the schedule, but it doesn’t mean he wins the league. Sorry boss.

Buy: a higher scoring RB/WR to put you over the top.

1 — TROY ALTBAUM (6–1, )

Troy made the move to add Julio to his already decided Championship team for this year. Luckily, he couldn’t suck the Pats loving owner into taking on Flash before his season ended, once again stifling his depth. Limited picks and limited depth. A short reign for the soon to be champion.

Sell: everything, go back to the basement!

Bonus Segment!

Let me tell you what to do with your team and who to trade with…

  • Head-Sarlo- I could see Sarlo sinking his teeth into some Watson bread for a QB upgrade and Head getting a younger RB/WR in return.
  • Bpou-Black- Pou comes and grabs an older WR to help backup the squad. Black gets a pick back.
  • Ian-Hallahan- I like Engram, but I think they might look to grab another TE not named Graham. Ian’s got a steep price for Hooper, but now might be the right time to move him.
  • Mike-Black- Daniel Jones is obviously the key that starts this team in motion next year. Come and get him!
  • Calhoun- (?)- I think he finally sells some assets, just not sure which contender will be going for the hope of AJ Green Trade and fluctuation of Freeman.
  • Marino- Black- maybe they finally get a deal done, but maybe this time it’s Black sending players to Marino instead of the opposite.
  • Troy- Billy- I don’t think Troy has many, if any assets left. But he may try to grab something from Billy’s roster.
  • Falcone- Black- Have we waited long enough for me to be able to trade with my former team? Give him some veterans and he gives me some yutes.
