About me

A freelancer based in Brooklyn, I research, report and fact-check health and science stories, and live for storytelling and projects that expose disparity, promote representation and inspire learning. When I am not reporting, writing or researching, I can be found studying New York City’s housing market, building up my Soca music library or roasting Ethiopian coffee.

Let’s talk. You can reach me at hyselemon (at) gmail (dot) com.
