Guide to Minting SnBNB

Hey Guardians! With the launch of Synclub’s liquid staking service for BNB, we have prepared a simple step-by-step article to guide you through the entire liquid staking/unstaking process on Synclub.

Benefits of holding SnBNB

SnBNB is the yield bearing & liquid staking token for Synclub, which appreciates against BNB in line with BNB’s staking APR.

Unlike traditional staking, where staked assets are locked in the contract, liquid staked tokens can be transacted or used as collateral to earn yield across the DeFi ecosystem.

With SnBNB, users have the freedom to earn additional yields on different DeFi platforms while earning staking rewards passively.

Prerequisites

1. An EVM compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask or Trust Wallet) connected to the Binance Smart Chain.
2. Binance Smart Chain tokens: BNB tokens for liquid staking.
3. A small amount of BNB remaining in your wallet to cover transaction fees.

Liquid staking BNB to mint SnBNB

Step 1:

Go to Synclub’s BNB liquid staking page and connect your wallet.

Step 2:

Enter the amount of BNB you would like to stake, click “stake”, and confirm the transaction.

Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will receive SnBNB in your wallet.

Step 3:

To see your SnBNB balance on your metamask wallet, click on your metamask wallet extension.

Scroll to the end of your tokens page & click “import tokens”.

Step 4:

Copy and paste SnBNB’s into “token contract address” and click “add custom token”.

SnBNB’s contract address: 0xB0b84D294e0C75A6abe60171b70edEb2EFd14A1B

You should be able to see your SnBNB balance now.

Unstaking BNB

Step 1:

To unstake your BNB, return to the main page, and click on “unstake”

Step 2:

Enter the amount of BNB you want to unstake, and click “Unstake”. Approve and confirm the transaction on Metamask, and you are done.

Note: Users will have to wait a period of 7–15 days before users can withdraw their BNB.

Step 3:

Head over to the withdraw section to check the status of your BNB withdrawal

Step 4:

Once BNB has been successfully unstaked, click “claim” & confirm the transaction, and you are done!
