Start-up — A temporary organization initiated by individual founders or entrepreneurs to search for a repeatable and scalable business model.

“Learning on the job and moving out of your comfort zone is the only way you can accelerate your wisdom for opportunities. — if you are too comfortable, you are vulnerable to changes and changes happens too frequently these days”

I guess we have heard this repeatedly, but it’s the truth. You only gain new experiences & perspectives in a new environment.

People always think establishing any organization is “being your own boss”, but the harsh reality is “how can you be a valuable player in your eco-system?”. When you have ‘skin’ in the game, rewards & failures become too obvious to miss.

It’s either a phase where you face a ton of pressure or motivation.

The confusion about Small Businesses & Start-ups

Every new business is coined as a start-up, because the term is so widely used.

While small businesses are just to address gaps in the market. It is just a game of profit margins. How much can you actually sell without establishing a scale.

Why startups are actually (re)innovating and bending their products to fit in the market, because that’s the first thing they need to do test a product-market fit. Then, consider about scaling.

Why does it matter? Planning and resource allocation makes a huge difference, not mentioning strategies that make or break.

Skills required by small businesses are often very (very) replaceable, as seldom you will need to do something very indifferent.
As mentioned start-ups usually needs to scale quickly and to penetrate into new sectors. You might be required to learn on the job, just to fit the direction. It’s just never stable.

Lastly, opportunities!

The achievements and responsibilities are yours.
